Job Purpose:
Gonzaga University’s Department of Nursing seeks to fill a 75% FTE, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer beginning fall semester 2026. The department is interested in applicants with expertise in healthcare simulation and experience teaching campus-based and online didactic courses and practicum/clinical courses. This position is to teach in the pre-licensure BSN program. If hired, the candidate must be willing to relocate to the Spokane area.
The BSN program is a campus-based program that is offered during fall and spring semesters. MSN and DNP didactic courses are offered online; the practicum courses for the Graduate program are arranged in students’ home communities and include intensive on-campus sessions.

Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master of Science degree in nursing.
• Eligible for an unencumbered Washington state RN license (or MSL).
• At least two years teaching experience with undergraduate and/or graduate nursing students including didactic
and practicum courses.
• Record of supporting students with diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated knowledge about cultural competence in academic and health care settings.
