Job Purpose:

The Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) Program Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional student support and ensuring the smooth logistical execution of programs offered to the public. This role works closely with internal partners to support learners from enrollment through program completion, providing consistent guidance and ensuring a high-quality, professional experience throughout their educational journey.

Essential Functions:

  • 40% - Logistics -
    • Work closely with program directors, instructors and liaisons to determine logistical needs for programs.
    • Manage program logistics including but not limited to catering, parking, technology, materials, assessments and any necessary purchases.
    • Work closely with CLL Director to ensure timely implementation of instructor contracts and payments.
    • Process invoices for services and process payments for service-providers. - (Essential)
  • 40% - Registrar/Student Support
    • Oversee enrollment operations of new students and participants.
    • Oversee payment systems and billing processes for program participants/students.
    • Provide timely communication and program information to students/participants.
    • Collaborate with program instructors and liaisons to ensure effective transfer of information.
    • Support course completions by ensuring processing of grades and credentials. - (Essential)
  • 20% - Other functions -
    • Provide logistical and scheduling support for CLL Advisory Board meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting notes.
    • Assist with new program development tasks such as researching topics, compiling materials, and coordinating with instructors or partners.
    • Support general administrative functions for the CLL team, including document preparation, data entry, and responding to inquiries. - (Essential)

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Years of Related Experience Requirement:

3 years

In lieu of the educational qualifications, candidates may qualify with equivalent professional experience at a ratio of one year of experience for each year of required education.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in program coordination, administrative support, or student services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with databases or student information systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially in managing logistics and financial transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a university or continuing education environment
  • Experience with event planning, logistics coordination, and contract/vendor management.
  • Experience using student information software highly desirable.

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position: $21.62 - $25 Hr

Pay Range:

Minimum Salary (Non-Exempt): $21.62

Midpoint Salary (Non-Exempt): $27.02

Maximum Salary (Non-Exempt): $32.42
