Job Purpose:

The Enterprise Developer will serve as an essential part of the Digital Workplace Team, responsible for all technical and administrative aspects of the Ellucian Banner ERP including the support of integrated applications. The primary responsibility of the Enterprise Developer is for the day-to-day administration, configuration and ongoing maintenance of the Ellucian Banner module supporting key financial processes like accounts payable, invoicing, purchasing and other service modules including integrations between other enterprise software.

Essential Functions:

  • 80% - Developer
    • Perform day-to-day administration of the Ellucian Banner, including making approved changes to process and workflows in Banner.
    • Perform development and implementation tasks, including but not limited to configuration, integration, and testing.
    • Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation, making use of the Ellucian Banner modules.
    • Communicate processes, operations and capability information tall levels of management and the business.
    • Work with business & IT users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows, as well as determine fit-gaps to improve business processes and services.
    • Develop systems integrations and process automation - fully utilizing the platform's workflow capabilities.
    • Coordinate integration with on and off-site systems utilizing resources from other technical teams.
    • Activate plugins, work with UI & data policies, business rules, access control levels, alerts & notifications, import & update sets.
    • Create reports, dashboards, and homepages.
    • Coordinate application and platform upgrades.
    • Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications.
  • 20% - Innovation and Automation
    • Develop unique applications or processes that generate more value tour customers and the university as a whole.
    • Present ideas for projects that could reduce cost or improve efficiency.
    • Initiate continual improvement activities and cycles.
    • Build automated processes that would alleviate manual or individual intervention: automatic resolution of known issues, automated deployments through workflows, and automated risk mitigation.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned by the Department

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Years of Related Experience Requirement:

4 years

In lieu of the educational qualifications, candidates may qualify with equivalent professional experience at a ratio of one year of experience for each year of required education. 

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL Certifications, Workato

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position: $87,500 - $95,000/year

Pay Range:

Minimum Salary (Annualized 12 months and 40 hours/week): 76560

Midpoint Salary (Annualized 12 months and 40 hours/week): 95700

Maximum Salary (Annualized 12 months and 40 hours/week): 114840

Minimum Salary (Non-Exempt): 36.80

Midpoint Salary (Non-Exempt): 46.00

Maximum Salary (Non-Exempt): 55.21
