Job Purpose:

This position serves as the forward face of the Law School Admissions Office in an essential recruitment capacity. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain strong professional relationships, work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and manage day-to-day functional operation of the Admissions Office. They will serve as our main visitor contact and coordinator for prospective students, families, and guests of the Law School, and organize all major events through the year. They will perform a wide range of complex administrative duties in support of department members. They will perform regular maintenance and administration within our Slate CRM environment.

Essential Functions:

  • 60% - Recruitment
    • Meet regularly with students, families, and external stakeholders in primary support of strategic enrollment efforts.
    • In collaboration with the Associate Director of Admission, operate within the Slate CRM database, including maintenance of data and preparation of recruitment events and mailings.
    • Daily maintenance of any technical jobs or integrations to ensure that data flows appropriately and business processes persist.
    • Ensure data integrity and best practices wherever possible.
    • Coordinate admission events and correspondence, including decision letters and scholarship award letters.
    • Supervise distribution of direct mailing projects at targeted prospective students, pre-law advisors, etc.
    • In collaboration with the Marketing and Brand Manager, assist with social media efforts for the entire Law School community. 
  • 25% - Campus Visit Coordination & Major Event Planning
    • Oversee Campus Visit Program to ensure successful campus experiences for prospective law students.
    • Schedule, and oversee scheduling, of all virtual, on-campus, and regional visits for prospective students.
    • Organize and attend all major on-campus recruitment events, including Open Houses.
    • In partnership with the Associate Director of Admission, utilize a group of approximately 15 Student Ambassadors to support and accomplish strategic admissions goals.
    • Create and manage visit scheduling system in Slate CRM, including follow up communication, surveys, and feedback loops.
    • Meet with student visitors on a regular basis. 
  • 15% - Office Operations
    • Serve as the face of the Admissions Office.
    • Responsible for maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for any Law School visitors, including alumni and stakeholders of all types.
    • Manage initial phone, email, chat, and general communication for the Admissions Office.
    • Maintain primary shared calendar for the office.
    • Maintain order and function of our physical space including presentation, supplies, and visitor experience.
    • Track inventory and reordering of materials, as necessary.
    • Utilize work study student(s) as appropriate in completing tasks in service our strategic goals.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned by the Department

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Years of Related Experience Requirement:

3 years

In lieu of the educational qualifications, candidates may qualify with equivalent professional experience at a ratio of one year of experience for each year of required education.

In-Office Presence - Ability to work on-site in typical office setting and participate in in-person meetings with colleagues: 5 days/week

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Pay Range:

Minimum Salary (Non-Exempt): 24

Midpoint Salary (Non-Exempt): 30

Maximum Salary (Non-Exempt): 36
