Salary Range: $600 per intern

Job Purpose:

Gonzaga University's department of Educational Leadership and Administration (DELA) within the School of Education, is seeking adjuncts to supervise administrative interns beginning in Fall 2026. The department is seeking experienced K-12 administrators who are retired or currently working and who are committed to supporting administrative interns through their nine-month internship.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with intern at least once monthly in person
  • Meet with intern's mentor once per semester
  • Attend program retreats
  • Access Canvas to interact with intern on a weekly basis
  • Provide support to interns on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications:

-M.A. in relevant field
-Served a minimum of 10 years in a K-12 administrative setting in a public or private school in Washington State.
-Flexible schedule to accommodate individual intern's schedule
-Valid Driver's License
-Reliable transportation

Lifting/Carrying - Ability to move or transport objects up to a specified weight: Rarely (1%-49% of time)

Attention to Detail - Ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods: Daily (>75% of time)

Problem-Solving - Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively: Often (50%-75% of time)
